It sounds cliché, but honestly, practice makes perfect. When learning a new language, it's good to practice as much as possible. We appreciate it can be hard to find the time. At home, you naturally speak in your native language; maybe at work, you have to as well. However, what about those in-between times? If you're on your break, try to practice with colleagues. When you go to the supermarket, chat with the store assistants in English. Maybe you're going out to dinner with friends; try speaking in English for part of the evening. Do you have children? When you do the school pick-up, try speaking with the teachers and other parents. Any chance you get is an opportunity for you. It helps to build your confidence and expand your vocabulary.
